Programs for Children
With a range of Literacy options from small group tuition for school aged children, to specialist maths tuition with a dedicated maths tutor, Ms Calleja has a program to suit your child.
Small Group Tuition
Literacy activities include phonics, comprehension, writing, reading fluency, research and grammar. Ms Calleja prepares and delivers lessons to suit the needs, abilities and interests of each student. The focus is on fun learning activities which give students confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Activities can include drama and role-play, literacy games, and term projects. Sessions are 90 minutes long and are suitable for Primary School and Lower to Middle High School students.
Intensive Reading Help
After an initial consult, which involves some testing of levels and abilities, Ms Calleja will recommend a path forward to assist with reading strategies. Ms Calleja uses structured synthetic phonics programs and activities to create a tailored approach to assist with decodingreading fluency and spelling confidence.
Sessions are 60 to 90 minutes long depending on the age of the student and are tailored to the needs of your child.
Book into a Session
Ms Calleja will ensure a good fit for you and your child by booking you in to an initial meet and greet session, before placing your child into a session timeslot. Our sessions are designed to nurture and inspire the whole child, and placing your child in a small group tuition session that suits them and where they are at is an important first step.
